Toxins Found in Personal Care Products Linked to Autism
Another major new source is drawing attention to the dangers posed by toxins found in personal care products.
You can watch this news clip by clicking here.
Below, I’ve copied a couple of the statements from this interview that leaped out at me.
Dr. Manny Alvarez: “As the embryo develops in the first trimester, as that brain is developing, if you expose it to excessive toxins, like the ones found in, let’s say, shampoo or make-up and things like that, it could have the potential effect of creating autism.”
FOX news anchor: “And see that, I think, is the major headline because you don’t just have to be exposed to lead or to taking some …ingesting some kind of medication. It can be in your hairspray that we all use, in your shampoo…all these phthalates. That’s the connection.”
Are you handing out your 287 cards? Are you sending your contacts to www.cancercords.com? Are you letting people know the significance of Trivani’s Do No Harm Philosophy?
Every pregnant woman you know, or meet on the street, needs to know about the potential hazards to her baby and what she can do about them.
If you haven't already, be sure to read another article, posted on our CancerCords website, that talks about the rise in Autism and environmental pollutants.

300,000 Toxic Exposures!
Why are there consumer warning labels on many of the personal care products you have used throughout your life? How is it that the average 60 year-old woman in America will have exposed her body to an average of over 300,000 known or suspected carcinogens simply by using personal care products and color cosmetics? How is it that the common consumer has largely been kept from this knowledge? And how is it that cancer will personally affect nearly half of us, and yet known cancer causers flood the personal care industry?
The Trivani humanitarian experience truly begins by being humane to yourself and those around you. The Pittsburgh Cancer Institute, in a landmark study, boldly declared that over 60% of the carcinogens in our blood are absorbed through the skin! It is not possible to use products with toxic substances and not absorb their ingredients. Our skin is a carrier, not a barrier. What you put ON is going IN, and harmful ingredients absorbed directly into the blood stream through the skin are not metabolized as they would be if ingested.
This is information that consumers have a right to know. Applied knowledge is power, and I believe there is an obligation to warn everyone we know. Make a quick fix of your bathroom products today, and deploy the power of the world’s only, “Do No Harm” philosophy.

It Will Make Damages from Tobacco Lawsuits Look Like Parking Tickets
WHAT!?!
I about fell out of my chair when I heard him say this. I could not believe it. Watch the video. At Trivani we boldly declared, over 18 months ago, that toxins found in personal care products would be the next major industry/consumer cover-up scandal, just like the tobacco/nicotine issue, and that it would go down as the biggest consumer product cover up of all time.
Think about it...you may only know a handful of people who smoke, and yet the damages awarded to those who suffered death or sickness as a result of tobacco products were the largest in history. So, how many people do you know that brush their teeth? How many people do you know that use deodorant?
Do you see where I'm going with this?
The EPA fired a shot on Sept 29th, and now everything has changed. (Read about it here.) The American Cancer Society has stated that 1 in 2 men, and 1 in 3 women, will develop cancer in their lifetime. What is going to happen when the EPA announces that it has identified hundreds of known carcinogens used commonly in personal care products? Attorneys will be lining up in the biggest show of legal force ever imagined, and the class action lawsuits could produce damages that would make the tobacco damages look like parking tickets.
Now how important is the 287 message? We are the only company in the world that has it. (Visit cancer.cords.com by clicking here.) THE ONLY ONE! We are the only company in the world with a Do No Harm philosophy™, and it is supported by the same 287 study that is cited in the EPA’s "sweeping reform" announcement.
Is it sheer luck that Trivani is perfectly positioned to capture the wave of consumer scrambling that is about to occur, or is it just good old-fashioned Karma?
All I know is that Trivani Kids are going to win, and that is what truly matters.

WHAT IS GREEN SMOKE?
Green Smoke is a revolutionary new nicotine delivery system that provides a healthier alternative to traditional cigarette smoking. With traditional cigarettes, the smoker is forced to inhale thousands of unwanted chemicals and carcinogens along with the nicotine. With Green Smoke, this is a thing of the past!

Leadership Conference ’09
Day 1
It was an incredible opening to a fantastic, revelatory day! In the morning we celebrated the Purpose of Trivani and rejoiced in the relief that Trivani distributors have made possible for children in third world countries.
In the afternoon, leaders learned about two new exciting developments that will have dramatic impacts on your Trivani business!
The first was the announcement that the EPA is going to require sweeping controls, testing and standards to protect children and all Americans from chemicals in the environment and in common consumer goods. The government has confirmed what Trivani has been saying all along!
This is the type of announcement that strikes fear in the hearts of major companies. It means complete overhauls of systems, production, finances, marketing, etc. And it means years of change before they are ready to comply. But the consumer is ready now! The announcement has been made, and the knowledge is out there. Who is ready right now? Trivani! Who has the products that consumers can turn to with complete trust and confidence? We do! We always have, and we always will. This announcement by the EPA has changed the entire game for cosmetic and personal care product companies. And Trivani is victorious before anyone else steps out on to the field.
The EPA’s announcement was based on the 287 umbilical cord blood study. This is something that every consumer needs to know. Ask everyone you meet, ‘What’s In Your Blood?’ and direct them to Trivani’s 287 site www.cancercords.com. And when they ask, ‘what can I do?’ You have the answer.
After lunch, Jason Golly, U.S. Direction of Sales, and Paul Jensen, IT Director, revealed the new Life-Line compensation plan. The new plan features the one thing our previous plan lacked…a sense of urgency. With the new Life-Line system, even a delay of minutes could cost a new distributor global volume. The Life-Line system unifies the entire distributorship in a unique way. It also brings together the concepts of compensation, recruitment and child sponsorship under one umbrella. As soon as your upline leader returns from conference, demand that he or she tell you about the new Life-Line compensation plan.
Day 2
These are just a few comments overheard at the incredible Leadership Conference this past weekend. It surpassed even the expectations of all in attendance. Thank you, everyone, for joining us to celebrate the safest and most effective personal care products available, the most rewarding business opportunity, and the humanitarian purpose that drives everything we do.
Day 1 started our Leadership Conference off on a high note, focusing on the compassion of Trivani’s mission, the announcement of new tools, and we had excellent motivational speakers. Then, on day 2, we jumped right into the consumption that makes that compassion possible. The first revelation of the day was Trivani’s newest product: Yauvana! Dee is so enthusiastic about our 100% organic rosehip seed oil that she insisted on unveiling it herself. Excitement for the new product was so high that we had to take a break to open the store where the newest product flew off the shelves.
But there was still so much to talk about. Shane McClellan took the stage to talk seriously about the 287 campaign and the impact that dangerous chemicals are having on unwitting consumers. Many distributors also shared with the audience how then had achieved success.
After lunch, we had some fun with product demonstrations that showed the startling contrast between Trivani’s Do No Harm products and some of the industry’s leading competitors. Audience members gasped at the effects and took rapid notes so that they could re-create the demonstrations at home.
Jason Golly and Paul Jensen took the stage once more to lead everyone through a detailed examination of the new Life-Line compensation system and the upcoming online recruiting program. With additional presentations about TrivaniLive and Starfish, distributors were almost overwhelmed with the amount of information they received at this year’s Leadership Conference. One distributor remarked that all of the presentations were so great that he had to take a break simply to take it all in.
The crowning event at this year’s Leadership Conference had to be the awards gala dinner on Saturday night. The crowd rose to their feet in an enthusiastic standing ovation as United Nation’s representative and “Humanitarian of the Year” award winner, Padma Venkataraman, took the stage. Padma was joined by Becky Douglas, founder of the Rising Star Outreach program in India. There wasn’t a dry eye in the house as Becky and Padma described the phenomenal missions of mercy going on in the leper colonies of India. Children who were once shunned as outcasts are being healed, educated, and trained to become the leaders of tomorrow. Lives are being turned around in dramatic ways. Megan McMillan, Managing Director of Trivani Foundation, had an opportunity to converse with Padma Venkataraman before her presentation. “She is remarkable,” Megan said. “She’s so brilliant and yet so humble…a truly outstanding human being.”
EPA Validates the 287 Study. Trivani Is Leading the Charge!
Trivani has led the charge in the safe product movement. We have said from the beginning that unacknowledged toxins and carcinogens in personal care products is one of the great consumer cover-ups of all time…maybe the greatest. Now the whistle has been blown on every company that has irresponsibly manufactured these harmful pollutants.
While we are thrilled that the EPA has finally decided to crack down on the personal care products industry, it will still take a while, years maybe, for companies and government to work through policies and procedures and get their products in line with new government requirements. Fortunately, consumers don’t need to wait for safe, effective products. Trivani has always adhered to the high standards of our Do No Harm Philosophy.
We’ve been saying it all along. It’s not just a marketing ploy. It’s a fundamental truth that there are dangerous chemicals lurking in shampoos, lotions, deodorants, etc. Now the EPA is giving official validation to this truth. So let’s get the 287 message out to everyone. It’s more important than ever!
The EPA’s decision is a victory for all consumers and is BIG, BIG, BIG victory for all Trivani distributors.

Great Trivani Humanitarian: Dr. Gerald Bresnahan
And Dr. Gerald Bresnahan is a fan of Trivani.
Gerald first heard about Trivani when he was speaking at an event in South Korea. Someone asked him what he thought about Trivani, and Gerald, never having heard of us before, went home and looked us up on the internet. He was so intrigued that he and his wife Lyn traveled to Trivani headquarters and spent an entire day with me. When he left, he told his wife, “This is the real thing, and I want to get involved.” Gerald Bresnahan volunteered to be the Chair of the Trivani Medical Advisory Board, and we have been honored and lucky to have him.
Dr.Bresnahan wants to become even more involved with Trivani, and he sent an exciting message to our new distributors at the Japanese launch. Now, we can share this video with you.
Enjoy!

Trivani in Cambodia
It was fun to discuss the many humanitarian projects that are underway in Cambodia.
In the 1970’s Cambodia experienced a horrible genocide at the hands of the dictator Pol Pot and the Khmer Rouge. Most of Cambodia’s educated professionals, teachers, doctors, etc. were kidnapped, murdered, or forced to work in labor camps. Thankfully, that regime was overthrown, but Cambodia is still trying to emerge from that terrible ordeal, and for most of the poorer population, a good, effective education is almost impossible.
Trivani is working to help Cambodia’s poor, rural families improve their condition through educational opportunities. Trivani’s Kravanh Bright Future Center (KBFC) is making huge strides towards this goal. You can read the individual stories of some of KBFC’s students, and about the overwhelming odds they’ve overcome, by clicking here.

Trivani's Hong Kong Leaders Know the Path to Success
What a pleasure it was to meet the great leaders in Hong Kong who are leading the charge. This is a market with great potential, and it is, of course, the gateway to China.
I admire the tenacious work ethic of these amazing people. They take business very seriously, and they take their MLM businesses very seriously as well. It is great to work with leaders that recognize that sustained effort is a requirement for success, as is a solid business plan and a system that can be monitored from day to day. They love to measure results, set benchmarks, and report their successes.
I continue to learn great business and life principles from Trivani members in Asia.
